Have them sticking out a little bit, then you can use them to slide around trees and posts!!
my tires sit just outside the body, hence the flares, and the sliders stick out the same as the tries.

so if i took a line from the furtherest egde of the front and back guard measures the distance and then added maybe 20mm that would be a plan?

then later i can join it all up. kinda like how MUVIT has his.

That would be the go, will give you good protection then if you do slide into anything.

I wouldnt bother with powdercoating. It doesnt stand up to rocks much better than paint but you can touch up paint.

We have powdercoating at work so its not costing me anything. I am getting it done mostly for the bathing process to remove oil and seal it from rust (gettin a zinc undercoated to), and figured may aswell PC it. Also a lil *bLiNG* wouldnt go a miss lol. Also i can get some touch-up paint from one of my suppliers (Union Hardware). also thinking of getting the fuel-tank sheild and front rock guard done aswell... That way i see see any battle-scars i put on it.

Seems that the WOF regulations are very strict about how far out the can go.... mine are bout 50mm to wide... so they will get shortened on monday... the would have looked f'n awesome tho.

Do you have any pics yet I am interested how they came out and wot sort of cost they came to...
