Hey has anyone out there got pics of a front mount intercooler setup on a 3.1 mu. Im looking at changing my setup just wanted to get some ideas

Have you looked at changing the intake manifold to suit a front mount i/c? I'm sure there are some factory manifolds of some cars that will be close.

I was going to go for a front mount, have the space as I have now removed the A/C, but decided against it because of either damage or clogging of mud when 4wding. I chose to go for one of powertruck's bar & plate top mount coolers, which should offer good gains over the factory isuzu top mounts, especially when I put a electric fan on it. Here's what I was going to use for my front mount plans: a Isuzu NKR 4JB1 intake manifold (non-turbo 2.8 motor), bolts straight on. That looks a lot neater than our set up on the 2.8tdi, front intercoolers for the Frontera  Excuse the dirt |
