New ROH rims are around the $70ea mark, so I wouldn't pay more than $170-$200 for a 2nd hand set.

Thanks Dave
Any ideas on recommended sizes (rims & Mud tyres) to fit a standard Wizard.
The sizes people have listed in other posts are a bit confusing and are usually for lifted wagons.
Is there a web site for ROH rims?

These are fairly close to the same size and are not actualy for sale at present as they are my rough set although Im happy for you to try them on for fit. Your current aloy rims will be 16x7 but Im not sure on the offset but can measure that for you. You should be able to fit 265x70x16 tyres to these no problem which are slightly less than a 31x10.5x15 tyre in size. This and the 265x75x16 tyre are quite common and would be the best options on your current rims but as you want to buy steel rims look for either 15x7 or 15x8 as a 31x10.5x15 or if theres room 32x12.5x15 tyres tend to be cheaper than the 16 inch equivelents and theres more choise. For second hand rims its best to keep an eye on tradeand exchange

Are you still after some rims? I have sitting here a set of original Bighorn rims in very good condition. These are 16 x 6 jj with a back spacing of 12.5 cm which would be perfect on the Wizard I think. They are a little narrow though to take a large tyre and currently have 205 16 road tyres on that are just warrentable. Free to a good home but I dont deliver let me know Alan

I'm running 32 9.5 15 s on 15 x 5.5 rims with tubes.I run 12psi front and 10psi rear.I've never had any problems with this setup while other vehicles [tubeless tyres admittedly] have run tyres off rims on the same trips.I put this down partly to the narrow.Incidently I've seen tyres refitted using a squirt of easy-start in the tyre and a lighted [lit?] match."Hair raising but very effective".You need to be quick with the air supply as once the burnt easy-start cools it tends to suck the bead back off the rim. Regards,Harry.

32x9.5 sounds a simex size. Im guessing they do very few road miles. Im going to look at a similar sized tyre on a 6 inch rim when the purse string holder allows me Ive only seen the lighter fluid trick in a video from Iceland Youve seen it done in the flesh? It looks and sounds impressive but it doesnt pay to use too much easy start.

Hi Alan
Change of heart on those rims - I think at this stage 15" are going to be too much hassle with the rear calipers.
Are you home tomorrow sometime? I could come and releive you of your burden of wheels and you could let me know what I have to do with regards to tow hooks.
Thanks
