Could someone tell me where i can find the computer/control box. for the auto trans on a UBS69. Been under seats and dash but no luck. Have a loose contact in it, auto trans very harsh in changing gear. Have fitted ARB bumper witch did not quite fit so used big 10lb hammer to make it fit and now trans shifts OK. have had the bighorn for 2yrs and now after 45,000km shifts fine. Still like to know where the box is tho. Car has done 300,000km. Thx

I have a 2.8 mu and the gearbox computer is on the right hand side drivers kickpanel. Hope that helps regards Skooda

Check in the cavity behind the Normal/Power Drive indicator at the bottom of the centre console. Look for a cigarette pkt size box. Mine is 1995 UBS69.

Oops! I put you crook. That is where the EGR controller is. The TCM is bolted vertically to the bulkhead to the left of the steering column.

my bad! yeah it is bolted to a braket where the cluth pedal would be if you had a manual.
