My drivers side door hinge on my 93 Mu has dropped ever so slightly (lets in wind noise from the top).
Is there an eay way to either adjust the hinge or will i have to replace the whole thing??
Cheers

The hinges have slide plates behind the panel to allow for adjustment. First make sure there is no play in the hinge pins If there is then its either replace the hinge or get your favorite engineer to drill out and replace the pin. To adjust loosen either hinge (takes guess work and time to work out which one panel beaters have a trick) Then move slightly tighten and test. In reality remember the door is quite heavy ive always done it useing a scissor jack from a small jap car with a few rags to support the door and adjust by the tiny amount required. Expect to have several goes at getting it right. A panel beater would probably do it for you in well under an hour and teach you far less colourfull language on the way. Its not hard but can be fiddly to get just right.

yeah sloppy hinges are a w.o.f issue but if you adjust it so it closes without riding up on the catch you should get away with it take out plastic inner guard from wheel arch and mud flap to access door hinge bolts two 12mm bolts on each hinge (probably top one) use a jack as geeves said or a mate or willing partner will do loosen both bolts and lift door just a wee bit and nip bolts back up and try closing door may take a little mucking around. if you have any problems give me a pm as i noticed your in wellington too and well sort it out {panelbeater}
