What are the best Isuzu axles for a conversion; my Jeep is fitted with a 4JB1-T IC engine and a Manuel 4JG2 gear box any ideas how about the axles with disk brake at the rear, do they come with LSD'S or any type of locker

Where are you? I thought the Dana diffs used in Jeeps were quite good so why change? A lot of the American assembled Isuzus also have the same Danna diffs. Front end is IFS so might not be a good idea on the jeep but you can get a Loca brand auto locker and ARB manual locker Rear diff did have the option of LSD (G80 code) and an ARB manual locker is available and a Loca auto locker has just been released. If never heard of an isuzu rear diff or axle breaking. ratios commonly available are 4.3 and 4.56 There is rumours of a 4.8 but noone has actualy seen one. There are 2 options for the rear disk The early ones used a simple calliper with a cable operation onto the disc I would not use this for a mod as it is a maintenance nightmare. The later diff assemble used a disc break with a drum built into the center which works very well Its also a larger disc which limits the options for 15 inch rims

I am from srilanka,ya the Dana stuff is good but the problem is when I switched the gear box from side to center drive, because the angle of the drive shaft vibration is caused and it has manual adjusting drum brakes which is a pain do you know any solid front diffs which matchers the ratio of the Isuzu's

In NZ they are Toyota Hilux. In USA not sure if this is Tundra or Tacoma. Muvit has just done a big conversion useing Nissan Patrol diffs so they might also be an option
