For Calmini that is a good price But do you need this? Any reasonable engineer should be able to knock up the extended shackles for around 100 or less Theses shackles are a 50mm lift on there own so you will be getting 100mm lift at the back which you wont be able to safely match at the front Those A arms are a very tidy solution to the wheel alignment issue with lifts on Isuzus but a simple ball joint flip is good for a 50mm lift and if you still have issues you can make spacers for the ball joint for the same effect You will need to double check this but I think those are the wrong A arms. Im sure the ball joint has 4 bolts not 3 My wagon is outside at the moment and its too cold out there to check myself The braided brake lines might not be legal in NZ. Check with your certifier before fitting

I love it, The snake racing kit is the calmin kit, look at the springs!!! lol and yeah its a 4bolt pattern on mine (94 mu).
I've probably read your post wrong, but doesn't the "ball joint flip" only give you 5 mm the thickness of the metal?? and it would also put more of a negative camber on the wheels which is one of the problem whe you try to lift the front to high.
I can give you an AUS price for the full kit from a year back now, it was about $2000AU If that helps...
Alastair.

Hasve a look at how camber adjustment is done on the isuzu. The adjustment shims are behind the chassis and when you lift you get to a point that you run out of shims. On mine a 30mm lift and ball joint flip left the camber unchanged. Also you get the 5mm of the arm plus the thickness of the ball jont flange. This allows the camber to be adjusted correctly to about 60mm lift. A 10mm spacer allows anouther 20mm or more

$120 plus GST is not bad for calmini shackle set. I recently paid $40 for a set of shackles and about $50ish or so for the bolts from a friendly company.
Remember not to shackle lift too high, or you will have to wind the front bars up too much to re-level - which weakens cvs, and cuts down alot of front end articulation. Personally I wouldn't go over 70m extension on shackles which will give you about 35-40m gain in rear height. But if you plan for a front locker later, I wouldn't go over 40-50m extension - as you will need to keep your cvs as near to flat as possible.

An interesting thought just came to mind. We have always said lifting puts more strain on the cvs but when you think about it a lift doesnt alter the angle of the cv at full drop as all you do with a lift is alter the resting point of the front suspension. However alterations like modified A arms, ball joint flips and trimming or low profile lower bump stops do allow the wheel to drop furthur which does weaken the cv. Once you have done all these mods never use full power at full lock and articulation or there will be a loud crack followed by either a loss of front drive or a crunching sound accompianied by a strong tug on the steering wheel. Cv joints are cheap second hand and with practice can be changed in under an hour in the bush.

I think this is because yu can 4wd slower and use less momentum, so if you accidentally lift a wheel it will be turning at the sam rate as the other. and not landing while spinnig a million miles an hour. all in all, I found lokkas good for my CV with big angls on them. just a though...

Well im really looking for more flex then hight as the MU is high standed. so longer shackels would more then likely give me more flex then new leafs.

Best way to make the front flex is to remove the swaybar or build disconects for it.
