Does anybody know the official size of the fuel tank in the MU?? IM asking cause I thought it was an 80L tank, but am unsure now... I just filled up with deisel and put in 79.52L (which costed $167 ). I think Im getting ripped of at this place, might be paying for more fuel than what im actually getting?!?!

Close, 83L.
Found out my fuel light isn't working the hard way when it began to cut out after reversing down the drive. Had under 2L left in it by the time we got to the gas station haha.

I got 81 l into mine once but it wasnt idling well by then as it was sucking air Didnt like corners either Fuel light comes on with about 5 l left. To test your garage get a 20 liter jerry can then measure it acuratly with a measurening jug ie 1 liter 20 times and mark it then buy 20 liters and compare to the mark. Over here bowsers get tested regularly

Thanks guy, when te time comes andi fill up more than what my tank can hold, I think I'll be insisting on a free tank.
Strangely enough the MU's engine was going well not stammering or coughing, still running strong. easly had another few L left...
I thiknk I wil test it, I read the last test was complete july 1999. i think that is well passed it test requirements!

If we were to totally drain the mu's tank of diesel, would the fuel lines need to be bled or not? as i'd like to see how many more k's i can get out of my tank.. my guage reads empty and when i fill up i only get about 60L into it.

If you drain the tank you should be able to get away without bleeding the lines but no promises. There will be enough fuel in the system above the filter to run the engine till it cycles any air back out. If worried you can use the bleed pump on the filter to suck through about 5 liters of fuel and pour back in the tank. I wouldn't bother though
