I own a 1999 Isuzu MU 3.0 litre turbo diesel of Japanese manufacture.
For the last 3 years or more I have been having trouble with my ABS in that the warning light on the dashboard stays 'on' all the time.
I live in southern Russia and Isuzu agents are non-existent and I am therefore unable to have my vehicle checked-out using the MU computer diagnostic programme.
I have searched and searched to find the answer to my problem but to no avail and I have decided to deactivate the ABS and just use the 'normal' brakes.
Apparently I need to pull 2 fuses to deactivate the system but: 1. I have no owners handbook to point me to the correct fuses. 2. My fuse box is inscribed with Japanese writing so I am unable to identify the correct fuses.
Is there an MU owner out there who can help by either quoting from the handbook or describing in laymans terms which fuses I need to pull?
I have looked at Rodeo, Trooper handbooks etc. but they do not help, the MU has a different layout within the fuse box.
Many thanks,
Jeff Gordon.
