hey whats the go with doing a body lift when you have a custom bull bar. i have a big steel bull bar and am wanting to know if its possible to do a body lift and extension shackles but wil i need to make custom mounts for the bull bar? ?

for the body lift you will have to raise the bullbar unless you dont mind a gap between it and the body. but if you only do extended shackels you wont have to. i hope that is right jellis

yeah.. your right Jellis .. if you do a body lift, then there will be a gap , so you'll need to modify the mounting brackets of the bull bar the same amount as the body lift , or you'll have a gap .. (( like I do atm.. )) if you put extended shackles on the back.. you may also need to wind up the torsion bars on the front to level out your MU , possibly even a ball joint flip too, unless your rear leaf springs have sagged a great deal ..

is there a specific amount you need 2 wind up the torsion bars if i put on the extension shackles?. anyone got any pictures from when they did it.

the amount you wind them up will vary for each MU .. depending on whether you have the factory torsion bars or aftermarket ones, how much your rear actually goes up, personal taste on what looks good/level/etc.. etc..
