Diff ratios. Can this be done?

Just trolling trademe and came across this lsd diff

Dont know why but it got me thinking. Can you combine the 43 tooth crown with the 9 tooth pinion to get a ratio of 4.77?
This would be perfect for those 35inch and bigger tyres

Hi mate i used to rebuild diffs for trucks for five years and you cannot mix and match pinions and c/wheels as they are cut a certain way for the tooth match and if you were to put a different c/wheel with pinion you will have the carrier for c/wheel offset one way or the other and can cause damage to housings. also pinion depth would vary greatly.
this is what i was taught by my boss who has done diff rebuilds for 30 or so years.
