Urgent! 91 Mu power window wiring

I've pulled apart the switching portion of the wiring going to the passenger window regulator.

The positive wires have power at them and if i earth them to the body of the car, i get a spark, i'm guessing this wiring is not fused.

the negative wires are either cut somewhere under the dash, not hooked up somewhere or they are fused? and have popped the fuse.

I need to know if, for some reason, the negative side of the wiring is fused? if not i'm just going to run a new cable to the body of the car and get my window going again.

My fuse used to short circuit every time i tried to operate the window and i had to get a new switch, it wasnt the wiring.
