Wiring an item thru the ignition

Is there an easy way to wire someting up to the ignition?
Iam putting a air to water intercooler on the MU and want to wire the pump up so it comes on straight away. I will wire the fan thru a switch in the cabin, as they say you dont need it going at highway speeds.

I hooked my top mount intercooler fan up to the heatpump relay thats in the fuse box. so the engine has to be running before it can go. You mabe able to put a thermo switch on to it so it turns its self on and off at the right temp.

I use the wiper motor power wire i think it's the green wire at the top of the plug. then use a relay for the pump
