I'm looking to replace all the shocks on my late 95 model Mu.
I dont know much about this subject and I'd really appreciate some help on what are the best shocks to get and what effect heavy duty 4x4 shocks compared to standard would have on ride comfort?
Also, which is better, gas-filled or oil-filled? and which brands are more preferred by Mu owners

You would be hard pressed to find plain oil filled shocks these days. The 2 choises are twin tube low pressure and monotube high pressure. The discussion has ranged for years on which is best. Each has its advantages. Stick to a common brand and all should be well. Even the heavy duty shocks are not sport shocks so comfort is not realy affected.
