Hi all,
I've got a problem with the electric window mechanism, in that the the plastic sleeve the glass sits on has been broken ?? from the switch shorting making the motor put tension on it while the window is wound up.
Firstly are there parts available to replace this?
One door has no mechanism remaining at all, which was like that when I got it, so I'd like to get it moving if possible.
I was considering doing a full retrofit of a similar system from another door perhaps. I notice the Holden Frontera doors look a similar shape, do they have a mechanism that can be adapted to an MU?
What about aftermarket systems?
