I know if asked this question before. Is there any problems with doing a 2" body lift. Have all the bits(had for over 12 months) just need to know other alterations to make it work? Thanks for the help.
Cheers Dave

Just finished the 2" body lift on the Mu took longer than the Hi-Lux. As i have a thermo did not have to move the rad & no fouling of gear stick did not have any problems after the lift. Used longer bolts where the captive bolts are but reused all the other bolts from the factory ;D. Picking up a lot more road noise . After this we can now fit a bigger fuel tank for all those long trips. Dave

I was away and missed your post. I did mine 3 weeks ago now. We moved the radiator down 2 inches so the stock fan could still be run. I just bent the gearstick a bit to avoid fouling (It would not stay in 2,4 or reverse without being held) and now it is fine. The seal on my gearstick was out of place and when I lifted it I sealed it back up so my road noise decreased The height looks good on a MU feels like a cruiser while in it. Now for the 33's Jimmy

Out of interest, how many blocks do you need for a Mu?

JustinW, I used 10X 2" blocks & retained the factory body blocks & bolts just cut the rubber isolation blocks in half ( they are on the underside of the mounts had to use longer captive bolts in the rear. The captive bolts are 150mm long X 10mm X1.25 u will need 4 of these for the lift. Hope that helps.

Hi, does the Mu lose much stability (on-road or off-road) with the body lift?
Cheers
