OK.. the 1st mod was a new rear bar, since I ripped the rear hook out trying to snatch Muvit out of a mud hole.. Well, good ol' Muvit said he could fix it up for me and make it better .. After a little bit of this .. We ended up with this .. Now.. Muvit wasn't too happy with it , as it looked a bit low and odd with the body lift, so he had another shot at it ... and I think it looks better , and so does Muvit.. The second mod was the front bar .. I had the chrome sports bar .. Now, thanks to Muvit, I have this .. An ARB bullbar from a TF Rodeo, with custom 2 inch lift to match the body lift.. The bar would of bolted straight on with no modding at all .. except I have a 2 inch lift, so Muvit moved the bolt plate down and rewelded it and it was all good ;D (mind you.. that took the better part of 5 hours to make it perfect , huge thanks to Ray for his patience, and Colin for the help)

The bullbar has been on for about 2 weeks now.. but I only put the spotties and arial on last night ... I'm wishing I had taken the spotties with me when I went to Ray's to fit the bar after it came back from the powder coaters..
I have shaved a good 4-5mm of skin off my elbows trying to get the spotties on .. rubbing up and down the radiator trying to get a spanner on the nuts ... I had to take the front grill off and the bash plate to get to the nuts to tighten them .. lol ..

Awesome looking bars mate!
I'm hoping to do the same thing as your bullbar on my truck. Is it possible to get pics of how it was welded up for the 2" body lift? The few people I've talked to arn't too keen on cutting up an ARB!
Cheers, Andy

Cheers, Andy Hi cutting up a ARB bar is the easy part its understanding how ARB themselves have made it in relation to how your going to extend their bracketry & also reinforce it with thicker plate in order to support a hefty snatch as i'm sure will be on the cards soon LOL ;D Let alone a winch?. One thing also once the existing plates had been cut off & moved down 2" the trick with this is not to butt weld it up but to leave a 5mm gap & fill weld it then plate it also for extra strength. Thats what i did. If all else fails revert back to the 3rd pick down & you'll notice a 9lb sledgy looking useful i might add hehehe always good to have around when metal needs a massage Beats punching it . cheers muvit

I would say that the TJM and ARB bullbar are really different. kane

Thanks for the info Muvit! I'll have to get me my first sledge hammer asap!
It would be interesting to see the different brackets on the TJM vs ARB bars and modding them for body lifts, cheers Kane.
Andy.
