Just grafted the front axle assembly from a 96 Jackaroo into the front of my Mu ;D. No more shift on the fly problems, manual hubs all work great. Had no problems it all went together smooth as, looking forward to the next outing . Dave

Is shift on the fly not all its meant to be? If you have already locked your hubs you can still switch between 2wd and 4hi and back at up to 100kph. This covers most bases. Still have to stop (under 20kph) for low box

Geeves, Really loved shift on the fly until started having problems, the pneumatic activation was not engaging when asked to only noise like a busted crown wheel & pinion. So that was the reason for installing the jack set up. The new axle is the old & tested no fancy air or auto activation, just lock hubs move small stick. The cost for manual hub to hub every thing in between was $550.00 installed. Just have to remember to lock hub . When are we going out next . Dave
