When I was getting a wheel alaginment last week I got to talking with them about replacing my road tyres. I am currently running Bridgestone AT's and have not had a good run so I was thinking of heading back to Firestone RMT which I found to be a great AT tyre and clocked up 70,000km om. Only problem is that they have stopped making them and there ATX tyre :owhich is what I currently use for winter and more interesting offroad. They are still availbe at this stage (till they run out) and then after that it is there new destination range which still dosn't have a 32". Might have to change tyres.

The destination MT looks like a nice all round tyre not very different the the Goodyear MTZ and cooper stt. Its a pity to see the demise of the RMT it was a good tyre although it didnt always behave in the wet under braking. I used them for over 60000km and they still had 5mm on them. Quieter than a lot of road tyres and about average in the mud but they gave me a few scares in the wet. Try a sudden total loss of traction accelerating onto the main highway when changing into 4th at 80kph

for what its worth i have tried a few brands ,and i would take a serious look at the bridgestone 694 a/t tyres I ve been running a set of 694LTs for about the last 8-9,000 ks & I am sold on them - dont know what they will last like, but they are quiet, the steering feels posistive and they hang on well on wet tar. Off road they are predictable - not real good in mud but seem to work well on everything else [ I am running 265x70r16s (effectively 31 inch)

Hey nig. was lookin at your foto and noticed you have swaybar disconnects there. that bolt looks very close to your steering rod. How much gap is there??

Just enough If the clip is turned the wrong way (ie loop towards the outside) it gets bent. Its a fine balance between clearing the tie rod and the shock absorber - there is about 10 degree sweet-spot between the 2
