hey guys and girls hope you all had a great Chrissy and new years. I'm just wondering if any one has made a fiber glass back for a mu that you can take off to make it with the back seats out in the open. the only thing that i could see as being a problem is the seatbelt mounts up the top but I'm sure that could be fixed with a roll bar kinda thing. jellis

Probably easier to buy a Frontera and change the engine box over. The MU hard top would have to be cut off with a grinder/saw then you'd have to make a roll bar engineered for the seat belts and rollover protection (which the frontera has)... But if you must it might be an idea to have a look at the frontie and maybe you can put the back and roll bar off it onto the MU

From the little Ive seen (3 door frontera never made it to nz) the frontera is the same as the gen 3 Mu so this might be the way to go.

Yep and the MU is cheaper and more common so cutting one up over there isn't a problem
