Hi all. Took the MU in to get the tappets, injector timing and other tweaking. The bloke that did it has a dyno too. The worksheet says he did the Timer kit and seals, Diesel Dyno Tune, Advance Cam Repairs and other little things. Idle is now higher, from 750 rpm to about 900-950. Is this a side effect or can it be purposly increased? Boost has increased from 11-12 psi (depending on day) to 13/13.5 psi, as the sheet says, boost adjusted to standard. I thought 12psi was standard. Can this bit extra cause trouble later on? Also, I don't know if the torque figures are right. 562Nm max. Can that be possible from the 4JG2-t with 2.5" mandrel exhaust? 60kW at the wheels ain't too bad though. I was told the runs are done in 4th gear. So at 60km/h, which I drive around a lot at, I've got 562Nm on tap. There's a hill near my house that I can now leave in 5th @ 70km/h and accelerate a little, which I couldn't do before. Cheers Speed is on left, then the black line and numbers are the 1st run figures, red line and numbers 2nd run.

i took mine in to a 4x4 place when it was running like a dog to see if it just needed tuning.. hard to drive in 5th etc etc.. turns out turbo wasnt boosting aparently and i managed to get 56.2kw with 31's
also i wouldnt get any smoke out at full throttle and or at high revs... dyno reported that the air fuel was running right.
not very good, after a new turbo its got some real good power output now but i havent had it dyno'd or tuned.
can put a dyno sheet up if needed.
cheers.
