2.5 inch is the best compromise of cost and performance. 3 inch will perfom a tiny bit better but at twice the price its hardly worth it. Even a 2.5 inch is not worth doing untill the old exhaust is past it unless you are a power junky

your exhausts are cheaper than is NZ Also remember that mandrle bends are better than pressed but in 3 inch it might not make much difference

Hi - i just went through this just the other week i got quoted 600 for a mandrel bent turbo back 2.5" system and nearly fell off my chair its not the cheapest thing. So all i did was cut the old muffler out and repalced it with a hot dog. It cost $170 installed and now it flies, the turbo kicks in earlier, better on fuel, plus it sounds nice but not horrifyingly loud. Best $170 i spent on my truck

For the 2.8l I think that the 2.5 will produce more torque than a 3" unless you are going to run super high boost. Mine makes some damn nice power and torque with the 2.5" clubisuzu.proboards29.com/index.cgi?board=Enginemods&action=display&thread=1163758107Don't bother changing the exhaust unless you are going to do the dump pipe. It is the most restrictive part of the whole setup. I did my exhaust and was not impressed. Then did my dump pipe and was amazed. Expect to pay 600-800 for a 2.5" Mandrel with Dump pipe. Jimmy
