Hey just wondering if anyone has managed to buy a snorkel kit for a 93 mu, ive tried a few places but they all seem to say the same thing, they dont bring a kit out for them, i maybe thought the jackaroo one may be close but apparently the closest one was the nissan safari gq kit, has anyone had any luck finding a kit?

Just ring them and tell them you want a snorkle for the MU. They know exactly. You can pay over the phone and you'l have it in 2 wks if all goes well

I have managed to get a dealership for Airflow Snorkels in NZ, good prices done for Forum Members.
Drop me a pm and I will let you know details.
Current pricing includes delivery within NZ

Would fitting a snorkel and then lifting the body 3" cause problems? Should I do the body lift before I buy a snorkel?

Should be fine. You would probably just increase the length of hose from the snorkle a bit to compensate.

That is some nice pipe work. I like the piping right down to the airbox. Neat.

A lot of people do this but Marley breaks when it touches trees. You can by flexi pipe for onle a little more and either mount it at several places or use aloy or stainless steel and either weld the bends or flexi pipe and clamp the bends. These home made snorkles work just as well as comercial ones but nearly always look rough

I was told when making snorkles yourself, you had to be careful about the diameter of the pipe.. Not big enough causing air restrictions & 2 big causes something else that i cant remember..

Hi guys , I was told by a guy in the manawatu 4x4 club that for every metre you go from the airbox you should go up an inch in diameter , I went 2 inch ( same size as airbox inlet ) to the side panels then 3 inch to the roof line with rambox on top. All seems to work very well
