Hi all. Had the MU at a specialist that did a bit of this and a bit of that on the 3.1 motor. He fixed the cold start, increased boost up to 2 psi, tappets adjusted, and I think he fiddled with the injector pump. Performance has increased a fair bit too.
Anyway, rpm at idle has now increased from 750 to about 900, which I think is a bit much for the manual.
Should RPM ever increase that much, or is it a direct result of manually adjusting the engine idle rpm?
cheers

If its an auto then 900 is correct. If not he needs to reset the idle for you. Shouldnt take him more than 30 seconds. One proviso on this If yours is an electronicly controled pump then you might be unable to reset this

It's a manual so I think I'll pop in next week to see if idle can be reduced
