Would adding wheel spacers help with fitment of 12.5" wide tyres or make matters worse?
Does anyone know the maximum legal size of spacer in NZ?
Thought of for increasing vehicle's track and tyre fitment & looks.

www.lvvta.org.nz/CertThresholdScheduleApril04V3.pdfBasicaly spacers are illegal in NZ unless they are certified which at $400 a pop is not ecconomical Fitting rims with a different offset would be more practical and put less strain on the wheel studs. Also remember when playing with offsett that increasing the track which is measured from the center line of each tyre to the center of the other tyre increases by more that 25mm you also could end up paying the certifier if the Wof man notices. 33x105 tyres are available although not common or cheap
