Heya All I've seen these advertised on Trade Me and just wanted some opinions on them... www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=198543729I believe the std Mu headlights are completely sealed units, is that what the 2BX means? What do you think of the conversions? Do you think it's worth the effort? Pros/Cons etc etc Cheers

If its a straight swap then its definately worth it, the mu head lights are a fully sealed unit and in my opinion are very average.

If you do a lot of road work semi sealed halogens are the way to go. If you do a lot of off road water and mud will get in. Ever syphoned water out of a headlight. Not fun

they look similar to the ones I have in my MU atm .. they fitted straight in .. My MU had semi-sealed headlights since the day I got it .. so I have no idea if they originally had fully sealed from the factory ..

The Mu's come out with fully sealed head lights. They cost a mint to replace when I did my 1st mu so I got semi sealed and fitted 90/130 watt bulbs (H4 lenses and bulbs) lasted me for nearly ten years of off and on road.
Best move I ever did. and the 1st mod i did on my current mu.

I've done the same as MuZila and have had no problems on and off road. I also upgraded the wiring to the headlights and added relays for both the headlights and spotlights.
