Auto Gearbox

Ok guys I need to know what the auto is that most Isuzus suport ie the AW30??? in the MU Jackaroo/Bighorn or Rodeo?

So is this a 3 speed with overdrive??

and dose anyone know if the toyotas had a similar box?? and if possible what in ie. hilux

The reason I ask is I am thinking of replacing the manual MUA5 with the auto and if possible also putting dual transfers on it.....(dreaming I know)

The AW30 is a 3 speed with overdrive. The AW30 can be found in MU, Jackaroo, Jeep, Volvo, and apparently Hilux. I get parts for a mine from a Jeep shop. The clutch setups for each box differs so most are not interchaneable, also the bell housings differ for each box a little.

If you are hunting around and cannot find anything locally. I have a spare gear box/xfer case and auto computer in melb in the shed. I replaced mine in an attempt to fix a cooling problem and shifting problem, as it turned out it made no difference.
