Is there any problems with putting 15x10s on a stock Mu?

First 15/8s will take any tyre you can fit without massive modification. Unless you want a tyre over 12.5 wide the 8 inch width is the prefered rim. There is no need to go over 12.5 inches wide on a Mu. For off road its always best to use the narrowest rim aproved by the tyre maker as it is less likly to debead. On the earlier Mu with the disk brake handbrake there is no problem Just make sure you have the same back spacing as the current rim. On the later Mu with the small drum in the disk handbrake clearances are very tight. It is possible to fit a 15/8 steel rim but not a mag You might need to offset the rim outwards to get it to clear the brake calliper wich will have your tyres outside the gaurds and more likly to touch panel work when turning. A 16/8 rim might be a better choise but this limits tyre selection I have had 15/7 rims with 31x10.5x15 tyres on my heavier bighorn for 10 years with no issue. It has happily traveled on the softest of terrain as well as any other truck. I have just fitted 15/8 rims with 32x11.5x15 tyres as the price was right. You only need more size than this for extreme use or looks

Thanks for the advice.
To be honest, im probably not gonna do much 4wding. The 15x10s are really for cosmetics as I would to like to fill up the space from the big guards.
Would 15x10 sunnies fit?

Hi On the rear yes on the front will depend on the tyre profile. keeping in mind if you haven't already bought em the sunny bsm can be bought anywhere upto a neg 44 & will set you back from $100- $180 each depending on the offset you ask for. Another example is both flyer & i have once ran 10s on the rear & 8s on the front purely for looks but they had 33 mtr-s on it cheers muvit
