Well it seems that a whole bunch of ants decided to take a dip into my reservoir bottle, I can only assume that the lid was not on properly, and now they jammed up my water jet nozzles. Has anyone taken them off the bonnet and replaced them with another set? I just can't seem to figure it out without doing damage, I have taken the line out from the back of the jets but the jet are still firmly in place?

They have little clips moulded in. You have to compress these with a pair of long nose pliers from underneath and push them out. It is a bit fiddly but they do come out.

WOW I think I would need to COMPRESS them quite hard then. The back of mine look like a fat +, would I need to compress all 4 side at once? I think the multi grips might do the job1
I'll give it another go

Yeah thanks guys,
I was going to try a fine piece of wire but I hoping to replace the jets anyway as my current ones, I feel are not quite strong enough and only dual spray. I would like the 3 spray jets that cover the whole windscreen and maybe the cars either side of me too ;D

They sound just the idea to mount in conjunction with a sensor on the wiper arms so that when one of those leaflet distributors (or someone more official) lifts the blade to leave whatever they trigger.

Problem is you too will live with the smell. There must be a better way.

After meesing about with bits of fuse wire and compressed air and not really a decent jet out of the washers, I fixed my blocked washer jets by sucking the muck back out with a vaccum cleaner - disconnect the tube from the back of the washer nozzle - gaffer-tape a piece of thin tube (I think mine was an old offcut of fishtank tube) into the nozzle of your vacuum cleaner - stick the other end of the tube onto the back of the nozzle and turn the cleaner on. Make sure the tube is pretty secure in the cleaner nozzle or you might never see it again

My comment was tongue in cheek. Meter maids would probably view such actions in a similar light to parking on one of them. ie dont do it

Mine too was tongue in cheek Looks like my old jets are stuffed, can't clean them out. So I am going to get a set off ebay you know the ones with LED lights on them, mainly because they are dirt cheap plus they should fit the MU perfect. I'm sure they are illegal to have the lights on, so what I am going to do is hook the jets LED lights to my "Camping car stereo". My camping stereo is basically the car stereo which I can, at a flick of a switch, run off the AUX instead the main start battery therefore preventing flat main battery. The Bright blue LEDs should be a good reminder for me to turn off the power when finished with the stereo. I love adding luminated switches i have; 1. a light force spot light switch, 2. a rear external 12volt cig socket switch (turned off when not in use and prevents shorting it out in water crossing) 3. 2 rear wing external LED camping lights which run off the old factory spot light lume but each light has a switch internally on the roof at the rear. 4. Switch for my stereo to run off the main or AUX battery. I have run out of logical room for more switches but I think I don't need any more for the moment. ;D Cheers

You have 1 very nice Mu there Pissy.

If I can stuff a light in there somehow I will. lol.
