Can anyone identify a guide bolt part number for a rear caliper (gone missing from caliper). I Have search the Isuzu Manual... and they all look different from whats on the truck (actually Mikes truck). It unusually has a different caliper on that side, the same as my 1991 MU. It's about 100mm long, with 80mm of smooth shank with 20mm of thread at the end... now the fun bit, it doesn't seem to be metric. It is a metric thread (pitch) but is about 8.83mm diameter.... and thats what I measured off my truck.

Looking at the cd manuals I cant find a reference to that calliper at all. I do have a haynes manual with a few pics though but it probably doesnt tell you anything you dont already know. Also looked through my parts but no use. Its very likely a holden only part although it might be worth hunting wreckers etc. I was told a Toyota uses the same bolt but dont know which one Think it was a front calliper on corrolla

Thanks David,
that looks like the one... Mike says thanks (it's missing off his truck)... i'm not sure why it's not in the manual.... as mine and his truck has these calipers.. so can't be rare.
... and whats your source for that drawing and part number? Looks like a handy addition to the manuals we already have.
Thanks

From memory it is a genuine part only, I've had 2 of these come out on me in the last 7 years. I think it is a M9x1.25 or M9x1. Yes there is a M9 size, it is very uncommon, just like M11 (used on volvo engines i think)
