Wasnt able to find a part number but have put a little info on the job below from an earlier post. PBR are a good brand as is Exedy which should both be available in Oz. Just take your chassis no with you to your favourite shop. 99 times out of 100 the standard clutch is fine and if you have around 160k on the clock this is a typical mileage for clutch failure. Unless you do a lot of hard towing or treat it like a race car you dont need the upgrade version. One extra very worth doing at the same time is the rear main seal on the engine and the input seal on the gearbox. These both have a habit of starting to leak 6 months after doing the clutch and its anouther gearbox out to fix
hey are a different diameter for the clutch plate the 4jb1 uses a 240mm plate and the 4jg2 uses a 250mm The 4jg2 also uses a higher clamping force. If you changed just the clutch plate and not the pressure plate you can also get problems due to wear marks on the pressure plate needing to bed in. I would never change just the clutch plate on its own. Also when my clutch was done the new one came with a special procedure for lineing up the gearbox. Aparantly there are 2 dowels that must line up but if they dont they can get pushed back allowing everything to bolt up correctly. If the gearbox is off center slipping will ocur
