Good Day you aussies First things first - I live in the other side of the world (I.e. Israel) which is quite a nice country (even though that quite depends on who you are) Anyway - I have a nice 1994 Petrol Isuzu Pick Up (which if everything went ok - his pic should be uploaded here) and if not - then: tinypic.com/view.html?pic=64l4rt ;D so.. just a couple of questions: 1. does it has a different name at your area? 2. I want to make it some under-engine protection for some better offroading - got any schematics? or some info I can use? Thanks. Shahar.

heyy nice TFS...what are the mods ?? I wanted the same as you... Thanks. actually it isn't modded too much (yet - I'm getting started) it has it's front bumper (which is nice) it has an extra suspension "leaf" on the back. The front torsion bars are a bit twisted. It has Kony gas dampers and wears new (bought 2 weeks ago) Goodyear G90 tires (which are close to 32 inches in size if you want to know in american measurements) Planned - First of all - protection: I'm getting my self into some quite "problematic" situations and I don't feel like hitting the oil pump After that - rock sliders which I just have to bring them home (already got them from the previous owner) When that is done - Some locking - probably a "No-Slip" on the back and maybe a "Lock Right" in the front. Some commo is also planned hopefully I'll get it done this week (some UHF radio - nothing special, for me and some other guys I travel with). That's about it... it will probably need an engine in about 2 years or so... (325K now) my wet fantasy is putting in a V6 of a trooper ;D and then it would make an awsome car but all that is theory - I'm still looking for some blueprints to make some underengine protection or some info about it... have fun

I dont know if you have Isuzu Troopers over there but you might be luck and find the trooper ones bolt straight on. If not still take a few photos as they are a good design and will be very close to existing bolt holes in your chassis

Nice sump guard - my Rodeo came with the rather ineffective factory bash plate which only really protects the front chassis crossmember - hence I have a luverly dent in the front of my sump. Have to do something about a bit more armour-plating underneath I was trying to put a picture in here, but it did not seem to want to work, so have a look at: www.4x4world.com.au/forum/album_pic.php?pic_id=578

nice bar dani4jb1t, they copied mine!!!
Shaharbd, i will be making a new cross member to replace the one that goes under the front diff , probably won't be till after christmas though, it will be a sump guard and cross member in one though, but to this day (touch wood for this weekend) i have never put a dint in my oil sump. Other areas to look at are your transfer case and fuel tank, on the mu's both have good bash plates, otherwise they are prone to damage!!
