Hi mate just go to a metal shop and buy 2" dia alloy rod to the lenth you need to make up the ten blocks and add a 1" for cuts drill them out to 10mm holes and get new bolts 50 or 75mm longer than originals 4 will be 1.25pitch thread for the back corners and 6 will need nuts. it that easy thats what i did. i did a 2" bl. cheers

I got mine (2" alloy blocks) from trademe, with the standard pitch bolts and nuts.
I think he might have been advertising for a hilux body lift kit, but can make any custom kit to order.
Andy.

75mm nylon or UHMPE works just as good, is probably cheaper, and is easyer to cut (wood cutting drop saw), just be carefull drilling as the bit tends to grab. 75mm gives the mounts more support as well. Most engineering supply shops sell it or a specialist plastics retailer. UHMPE is cheaper than nylon and works just as well.

Dont use nylon. UHMPE is the right stuff to use. Alloy is also good and looks nice especially if anodised although this effect is wasted once covered with several inches of mud. UHMPE is a magic plastic. Its also the base material for Spectra type winch rope Hard to believe its closest relative in the plastic world is used to make milk bottles. It comes in many colours.

Hey thanks for all the replys, I've got limited access to tools at the moment so I ended up getting some alloy blocks from 4wd systems. Also bought a lokka as well I'm in the middle of a back yard project at the moment so I'm sure I'll have more questions for ya's. cheers

OK. thats interesting. I have..... 8 x 41mm blocks/spacers. white nylon/urethane type stuff. 8 x 150mm x 10mm 8.8 bolts with nyloc nuts and washers. 1 Spring 1 flat. thats it. I thought there was only 8 blocks needed. 4 each side. And that I would need 2 x 1.25 pitch bolts at 150mm x 10mm. Have I got this wrong? Do I need ten blocks and 4 x 1.25 pitch bolts??
