Hi all,i am a new member on here..need to ask a few questions about my truck.as you can gather i own a Isuzu KB series crew cab pick up,spent lots of time and money on her love it to bits.Anyway last Friday some thingy excuse the language tried to pinch it,they pulled the top of the passenger door out at the top to gain entry then the buggers had a go at the steering luckily enough the steering lock held but, big but now the steering shaft snapped at the splines ,i have had it re welded and stuff at a specialist engineering place and they have done an excellent job..i have put it all back together and there seems to be a slight up and down play at the steering wheel any ideas? have i put something in the wrong place???cant get any diagrams of the steering column of the net so your help would be much appreciated as i lost my temper taking it all to bits after the break in..and i am wondering if its something i have done?.also would it matter if the half shaft bit that fastens to the steering box is the wrong way round as when i put it all back on the shafts were upside down so i took it of at the steering BO and just spun it round 360 so it was right.and the steering lock etc were in the right place help me please!!!cant take no more ...all the best Nev
