Hi, it's not hard.
get a genuine Isuzu seal. The Isuzu one is the usual plus a felt seal as well. Generic ones don't seem to have this. Drill some very small holes (~2mm) in the seal, screw in some screws to pull the old seal out... and carefully add the new one wetted with some oil.... be sure to drive on squarely without damaging it.
...an air impact tool is a good idea to get the flywheel off... and torque back up to spec when refitting.
Flywheel Bolts: 118 Nm (87 ft.lb) Pressure Plate: 20 Nm (15 ft.lb)

thanks for the photo, however when i type in the numbers on the box , nothing comes up in the isuzu catalogue. are these the isuzu OEM #'s? anyone have any idea if these seals cross reference with the 2.6 and 2.3 engine?

No idea where they came from as I bought the whole kit from Roodogs www.roodogs4wd.com.au/ on eBay, but I have a suspicion that they came from Zenith www.zenith.net.au/ in Brisbane who deal a lot in Isuzu engines. Did you try the bar code numbers?

i tried the bar number codes, they looked similar to isuzus # style, but there are too many #'s. i plugged em in anyway but no luck. i am located in NC in the states, so i am trying to source them locally if possibly so as to avoid the shipping charges. thanks for all of your help, i appreciate it!

Those numbers should work in a aftermarket seal seller. They should be able to cross referance them to a local brand

I was going to suggest the 4x4wire forum for some 'local' advice... but I see you are already over there :-)

OK I have some more numbers for you, this is out of my stuffed engine that I have rear 894214-9130 and front AH2847S (NOK brand) felt wiper. The rear one has no felt wiper just a rubber lip which is worn. Also I had a look at my new ones and the numbers on them are rear BZ4962E (NOK brand) has a metal sleeve in it which looks like it has to be loctited on to the crank, front 8-97049-145-0 no brand felt wiper.
Hope this helps ya, I'll be pulling down my running engine soon so will post numbers from that as well. Yarno

that confirms what i have managed to dig up, as far as isuzu #'s . good news is that they are readily available to us here in the states. thanks for the help, i really appreciate it. any tips on replacing the front seal, getting the crankshaft pulley off, or hanging the 9kg weight thing, what did you use?

The front Pulley comes off with 4 small nuts... then the big nut on the crank is for the timing belt bottom pulley/gear. You will need a bearing puller for this. Pic with timing cover off, front pulley off. you can see the four bolt holes where the v-belt pulley came off. ...and crank big nut and crank timming belt pulley. The long bolt is to hold the cam pulley in place for timming... there are taped holes in the block for the job (and the injector pump) ... and the seal. For a 'weight' you can use a weight, but a spring fish scale is easier. Try a hardware store or sports/fishing store

thanks for the pic, its neat to compare photos. i think i am going to replace my camshaft seal as well, its real oily in there. but once again i am looking for the part number on it. my isuzu parts manual is for an industrial engine and it doesnt list a camshaft oil seal... anyone done this and can provide any numbers would be a big help.
