does anyone know can you get lower gears for the Isuzu transfer case?
i seem to be using low every where but want to crawl slower ive only got 32 inch
tyres and the diff ratio is 4.31 but i think changing to the 4.56 wont be enough and
i would like to go to 33 inch tyres but only if i can get the gearing down
any help would be cool thanks does anyone else have the same problem

Google tera-low isuzu. There could well be other manufacturers too. What sort of driving do you do? We have been running 33inch simexes which measure just over 34inch actual diameter using 4.56 ratio diffs for the last few years, we mostly drive low box offroad, occasionally L1st but we very rarely find ourselves wishing we had crawler gears. Most of our driving is mud, rivers and clay tracks including some good angles and inclines we don't see alot of rock banks where we are.

Thanks nig that could be the go and it only changes the low range  cool because high is good for the mud ... dont think i wanta do it myself so ill price things up first has anyone done this mod on this forum |
