do all MUs from japan has isuzu corporate 12 bolt axles? this the modified dana 44 right? is it a solid axle? so does this vouch that when i do a SAS its ok to retain the isuzu 12 bolt at the back and change only the front axles? sorry for such noob question

True. Only issue is ensuring the ratios are correct It should be 4.56 but check.

i have to check if it has the isuzu 12 bolt. how do i know? i mean how does it look like?

Sorry amend last post The isuzu axle is nothing like the Dana. The dana only apears in USA models sometimes. The 12 bolt is in the rear of all Mus,Wizards and bighorns made after 1988 The 10 bolt apears in the front of all of the above plus the rear of earlier bighorns The 12 bolts are round the crown wheel. You cant tell from outside

hmmm so my MU doesn't have a 12 bolt. when i check it doesn't look like a dana (or am i missing something?) so what axle does 92 JDM MU has?

Only MUs with a Dana 44 are USA manufactured and badged as Amigo. Also they have Chevyv6 engines. Dont know what diff went in the Frontera sport which is a gen3 Mu but with an Opel engine from 99 onwards. Everything else is 12 bolt

The MU is made in Japan and have the 12-bolt... The Frontera is made in the UK and the US has the Dana 44 The Amigo is made in US and has the Dana 44 or 12 bolt
