Hey just thought i would take some photos of Isuzu turbine wheels to show you guys what they have done over there years. The Vicc is the replacment turbo for the factory RHF5 which is the one on the far right which measures 37mm. The turbine wheel in the middle is the Vi95 wheel which is being phased out now by the Vicc. The one on the far left is the 10,000 series shaft out of the Subaru VF8 which i have machined into my housing on my own truck. The wheel measures 46mm and is a 7 bladed turbine wheel compared to a 11 blade Vi95 wheel. The more blades a turbine has will give it more low down response but will not flow as good as a 7 bladed turbine. Even with a bigger turbine in my own truck 46mm i still have the same response as a Vicc turbo which has a 37mm wheel. The reason they are going smaller is to get them spinning up quicker down low for emmisions, but they are creating alot more heat in doing this which causes higher EGT temps. I wouldnt reccomend the Vicc turbo if you do alot of towing or open road driving. [/img]
