Does anyone know what the bolt markings mean on the bolts used by Isuzu thoughout the car? Just about all bolts are marked either 7 or 4 This doesnt conform to normal tensile markings which would be 4.8 or 8.8 .The main issue is if you replace a bolt for whatever reason what rating should you use

I know on the evo 8's I've worked on, that the higher the number the higher the torque that can be applied to the bolt. For example the guards bolts (and most peripheral bolts for that matter) are 4's while the cross member bolts are 7's and 10's.
