Just trying to get all my facts right before I do this. I know that a quiet a few manuals have had it done but wondered about the autos. I am mainly concerned with the Auto gear lever and 4wd selecter stick with a 2" body lift. I remember reading a long time ago that a previous auto MU owner had problems with the one or both of these after the lift. Can anyone advise me on this issue and any mods to overcome or fixes PLEASE?
Cheers Chris

hi pissy when i did my 2 1/2" lift mine being the 2.8auto nothing changed inside the cab although mine has 2 t-bars instead of 1 & a small gearstick. but i had to adjust the shift kik down rod on the left side of the box almost all the way out to accomodate the differance in the body lift. its just a nut, clip & another nut unwinding it out the ways but ensure the rod is disconected of the side of the gearbox before you jack the body up or you might damage the lever hope this is of help? unsure about your selector stick though regards muvit

ive done a two inch body lift on my 3.1 auto easy as 8-)hardest bit is modifying the bumper brackets O and bending the short stick (4x4 selector) with heat! note remove lever to heat. and for the auto lever i had to adjust there is plenty of adjustment able. droped the radiator down, i raised the fuel tank up @65mm its tight now! just watch the wires and pipe work as she goes up. have fun ;D

Thanks guys, will think about it again as I am not a mechanic or have ANY SKILLS and would have to pay someone to do the both levers, radiator drop and anything else. It could just NOT be worth it unfortunately
