Here are the photos you (jimmu) and anybody else wants, of my exhaust from the turbo back, now i've just got to get the photos here??~!~! So this one is the end of the exhaust, up out of the way and never gets touched: photobucket.com/albums/b327/mulover/Exhaust/?action=view¤t=635b8813.jpgThis is the section behind the gearbox: photobucket.com/albums/b327/mulover/Exhaust/?action=view¤t=916bc00a.jpgThis is the muffler, 3" straght through, could be a bit higher yet: photobucket.com/albums/b327/mulover/Exhaust/?action=view¤t=367b8a3a.jpgThis is right below the engine, 90 degree bend and flexy: photobucket.com/albums/b327/mulover/Exhaust/?action=view¤t=7e7be27b.jpgAnd these are all views of the manifold i made, its basically a retangular shape, you would need to go to an egineering shop to get it made: photobucket.com/albums/b327/mulover/Exhaust/?action=view¤t=095e791b.jpgphotobucket.com/albums/b327/mulover/Exhaust/?action=view¤t=e62b7da1.jpgphotobucket.com/albums/b327/mulover/Exhaust/?action=view¤t=topview.jpgphotobucket.com/albums/b327/mulover/Exhaust/?action=view¤t=5cd16c55.jpgHope this helps and this is only my way, there are probably hundreds of others, please let me know if you's would like more photos, but i'm not taking it out cause its a mission!!!! ;D

Nice way to do the exhaust at the back. Also in that pic do I see drop shackles and a modified plate under the springs. How do you find those shackles and where did you get the low proffile spring plate?

Well spotted bugger caught out!!! yes they are folding shackles, 110mm closed, 220 ish mm opened. They are fantasitc!! flex and move and just let the suspension move alot more. They are only design number 4 though and still not right, they rub on the springs a little(mark 5 is not far away!!). As for the spring plate, i made them (I'm a engineer by trade), just a bit of 6mm plate, with shock mounts i spun up in the lathe. Have found that i'm getting too much flex and broke one of the upright bits off and stuffed a brand new shock!! If anyone is going to make these then the shock mount needs gusseted, one day i'll finish the mark 2 set which is the same idea but is a u section so even the bolts will be above the springs and i'm going to mount the shocks in a prymid set-up behind the axle to hopefully give me more twist!! Oh so much to do, oh so little money and time to do it!!!!

well done mulover, you just need to rotate photo's before posting them at bucket and change setting on camera to something like 640x480 fine setting and your pics will look tidier and be in a good size for everyone

For the spring plate have a close look at the one for sale to fit a FJ40 at www.genie4x4.comHe wont mind you stealing ideas from his product if he doesnt know (also they dont make them for or wagons so how can he complain) With these and the drop shakles you might be able to sell a few.

Oh hell yes!! it really gets going now, no more top end speed but turbo spool-up and accleration up to about 3000rpm is wicked, especially since i put on that intake pipe as well, and she pulls away from really low revs now too, great for off roading a you can idel across something in a higher gear and still know you can drop the foot and power up in a hurry if you need to.
