Ive just noticed a clicking noise when i go on hard lock and reverse it clicks 4 times sounds like a cv joint but ive had them all out and replaced. The clicks are consistent it does it 4 times but if you go hard lock the opposite way it still clicks but not as bad. I know its probably a bit vague but has anyone else come across this problem

Hey no this is in 2 wheel its only when u reverse out and go hard lock. ive got Aisin manual hubs factory ones in the front. Im starting to wonder if the bushes on the upper and lower control arms are worn and when i go hard lock its loading them up more i dont know its really got me beaten

if its in 2wheel then definately not cvs, you could be onto something with the bushes hard to say with out hearing the sound tho

I would go as far as definatly not cvs as a faulty free wheel or faulty transfer case could cause the cvs to turn. Its unlikly but still worth checking that the cvs can be turned by hand with car stopped and in gear but 2wd. More likly things are tyre rubbing on the gaurd (non standard tyres??) bad ball joints or a arm bushes or maybe a drive shaft ujoint. Noises can trick you sometimes as to where they are
