Does anyone know if a Bighorn rear diff head will go into the front.Thinking of swapping the front open one for an lsd one.

No they are different sizes in the crown wheel, 10 bolt front, 12 bolt rear....

Depends how old your Bighorn is. Old Isuzus had the 10 bolt in the rear, pre 87 I think.

Oh yes I forgot about that.... the older ones have the 10er in the back..., might be able to find one with a LSD in it...

Thats where our front lockers come from!! They were origionly the rear lockers for the early 10 bolt Isuzus!!
Lucky us cos now that our front!! Matt.

the ring size for front diff it`s 194 mm. and for the rear diff 220 mm. Both with the same number of teeth (41). Pinions have 9 teeth.
I think they are not be able to swap, but maybe I`m wrong.
