The return spring on my rear left hand brake arm has fallen off.
This means that the hand brake is sticking on that wheel.
Does anyone have the part # for it?

Buggered if I know.
I noticed she was a bit down on pep and I noticed a squealing noise when i reversed and sure enough the brake jammed on.
She fried the 33's again when I took her for a drive after I levered it loose.
I was hoping for a part number from Holden so I can order a new one...
Can anyone tell me how these hand brakes function? I cannot say I have ever seen one like the MU before.

Aparantly some mitsubishis use a similar setup. It might be better not to know how they work

Well its official Holden have not f**k**g idea what part it is.
The guy spent 30 minutes looking through the parts system and the expandable drawings on the Jackaroos and Rodeos.
Guess it is wrecker time.

Hey Jimmu, Have a look at www.myisuzuparts.com. Even though they drive on the rhs and don't have diesel I have been able to spend some time comparing things with images and figure out a hell of a lot more there than by standing at any spare parts counter.

Jimmu - best place I know in NZ for isuzu parts if you can't find item over there is Truck Bits or Bits for Isuzu, Onehunga Auckland. Phone no is 09 6222072 here.
Their email is: 4x4isuzu.com/ - a very good outfit who know isuzus backwards, and if you ask for it, will give you club discount. A spring would not be much freight to Aus.
Recommended, and generally good prices too - much cheaper than Christchurch parts dealers. - Mike
