Hey guys!
My "Winter Drive" button for my auto trans doesn't work! I guess I don't really need it but it might be helpful when i'm travelling the Alpine passes this winter! The Power Drive button works, and I've checked the bulb for the winter drive light, which works fine. Any ideas on what could be wrong??
Cheers Mike

This is a guess but I belive there is a sensor in the grill to check for ice

ok so that would mean that it would only work if it's cold enough for ice to form on the truck??

It trys to detect the liklyhood of ice on the road then locks out 1st gear to prevent wheelspin. crude but fairly effective.
