Might be a simple fix but not looking good. The brother in laws Volvo did a similar thing and it was a replacement trans. Somehow it had managed to get into 2 gears at once There wasnt much left inside the case afterward. Volvo use the 2wd version of the same box. Most likly cause would be a failed torque converter but its best to leave diagnosis etc to someone that knows auto trans and has the necessary gear. They are a common box on the inside so if your local auto trans place starts talking "strange and unusual" he is just trying to talk up his profit.

thanks mate might as well save up before bringing it to the repair shop might take a while most likely to shell out big money for the repair.problem with it is that once i take to the shop i will surely be tide up to these shop with no option with whatever they dictate.

hey geeves could the cause be the oil leak from the rear engine. Can it be posible that oil has sip through my transmission. Cause i have an oil leak for some time now guess its coming from the rear engine cause everytime i park i see droplets of oil from the cross member right side near the transmission.
