Morning,
My brake warning light on the dash is stuck on. Has been since I hi pressure hosed the engine bay. No obvious damage to wiring, brake fluid level is ok, not losing any, pads and shoes are fine, hand brake seems to go all the way in. If I disconnect the wire to the resiviour it goes off but I don't know if it runs to the hand brake as well? The brakes are working fine. Anything else to check??

Check again once everything is dry Im guessing a shot circuit has occurred in or around the level sensor in the resivouir. If still no good then give this area a good clean with a dry rag ( dispose of this rag as it may get brake fluid in it which must never get near the paint) If still no good you might have to change this sensor. Only other thing that comes to mind is if you knocked off the vacuum hose to the booster but your brakes will not be brakes if this has happened
