Mu front diff -ucs55

Hi, Can anyone tell me what the front diff head is the same as?
I know people tell me that lockers are the way to go but surely an lsd will be easier on the cv's?
Also is the rear lsd out of an ucd? 69 Bighorn with a 3.1 diesel compatable with the rear of the Mu? ratio's aside

Mus and bighorns after 88 have the same diffs. The rear diffs in pre 87 bighorns are the same as later front diffs. Getting a good early lsd could be hard work as they are 20 years old Your ratio is either 4.3 or 4.56 The early bighorns were nearly all 4.56

What front diff did the early Bighorns have?Did they have the same diff at both ends?

It was even smaller but dont know more. Early front diffs broke regularly even with the 2.3 engine
