Hi - is there anyone out there in New Zealand who has installed a Calmini 3 inch lift kit in an ISUZU Mu ?
Where there any problems with certification? Was it a success?

Because the Calmini kit uses a new upper A arm it will need cert but shouldnt be an issue except for parting with anouther $400. If you dont use the A arm it wont need cert but you wont be able to set the wheel alignment Same is true for a ball joint flip which also need cert if the wof man ever sees it most dont know that its not designed that way. Only things I have heard about this kit is that its very stiff. The A arm is a good idea but the same result can be got from a ball joint flip. The shackles are well made but the add a leaf is too stiff for NZ conditions Same for the torsion bar

I know of some guys that have done calmini lifts on Nissans and zuks.. all were certified alright but some had trouble with warrents. Unsure what the probs were but could find out for you want.
