im planning to fit a light truck handbrake drum behind the gearbox due the well knowed poor action in MUs without drum handbrake. Problem is the slip yoke driveshaft there. Then old lines cables could be used as fiddles to command LSD. any help or better idea ??
thanks

Bear in mind a brake drum on the drive shaft will only provide braking action with both wheels on the ground. i.e. in an off road situation with porn traction or a wheel off the ground you will have no handbrake by this method. But an interesting idea all the same. :-)

old landrovers and cruisers are like this I have heard stories of these wagons taking off down slippery hills with the rear wheels turning in oposite directions as one has more grip than the other
